Marriage is an act of faith and ever-deepening commitment, as well as a loving union between a man and a woman. It has been described as the best and the most important relationship that two people can share.

In the presence of our family and friends I choose you be my wife/husband; to be no other than yourself, in all the ways life may find us, tending you in sickness and rejoicing with you in health, as long as we both shall live to love.

I choose you to be my wife/husband.
I promise to always believe in you;
To dream with you; to laugh with you
I promise to hold you up with respect;
To listen to you, and at the same time hear you.
Be faithful to you; and to embrace your family.
Through the best & the worst of what is to come
As long as I live I will keep these words close to my heart.
This is my solemn vow.

I come here today, (name), secure in the knowledge that you are my partner, the one with whom I will live and grow forever. I, (name), offer myself to you and you alone as your wedded mate in the name of grateful, pure, and lasting love.

I take you Bride/Groom, to be my wife/husband, knowing in my heart that you will be a faithful friend, my confidant, and the mother/father of my children. I will be with you in good times and in bad for the rest of my life.

I vow to cherish our union and love you more each day than I did the day before. Both freed and bound by our love, I give you my hand, my heart, my soul, from this day forward as long as we both shall live. This is my solemn vow.
